To travel is to have the trees as your four walls and the sky your ceiling.
Our idea of travel is closely related to our idea of home.
Few years back I made a conscious decision to not have a permanent home. For most of my life, ever since my early 20s, I have been staying in different places. In the last seven years, the most I have been in for a year. I’ve had temporary homes.
An important distinction to make while travelling is one between a tourist and a traveller. I go to places as a traveller. I am interested in seeing the inner life of people that live in these new places.I mostly travel solo and spend my time with locals, I find it the most enriching to engage with the local communities and explore their ways of life.
Travel is more about the inward journey which the outside journey compliments. I’ve travelled across the globe to beautiful mountains of France and beaches in Greece to some parts of the middle east and the west as well as some of the most beautiful islands on this planet. I would be very happy to share glimpses of the myriad cultures I have had the good fortune of engaging with. I click very few pictures on travel but my experiences are intact. It is a rich journey to travel and to feel like an inhabitant of this planet, unfettered by political boundaries is liberating. Travelling is something that I intend to continue doing and this is an open call for those that seek similar things.
If we resonate, we could meet in your country and travel together.
We’re as free as the migratory birds- free to fly across continents, our nature is to travel and explore- not just the outer world but also our rich inner worlds. Let’s meet midway and create a path together. It’s part of my vision to create a community connected with their surroundings, this earth, the universe at large. I am headed in this direction, I hope you will join me.
